w00t, it's Bahamut from FFX. Only 3 layers, because I used Pen Tool to outline the shape, then 2 background layers. There are a LOT of anchor points. This has helped heaps in discovering how to use the annoying curves in the Pen Tool. I also did an 'iPod' version. :lol:

You should know, this isn't done from scratch. I 'traced' around the outside using the Pen Tool on top of a reference image, no talent required. Really.

Some people just get a photo to look at, then draw it up, but that is REAL hard. My other 'Vector' pictures are the same, just outline, but instead of filling in black I go crazy with the gradients.

Thanks! The pen tool is especially difficult, but this picture gave a lot of practice ;). One of the things I got stuck on was the curve.

This is some great work!
And having done it with the use of the mouse makes it major feat. Must have taken a while to drag out all those curves....
Not my favourite Aeon (which incidentally is the Demon Duke of Hell, Valefor), but it is definitely good in a fight. Usually my collateral....

I actually find the mouse easier than the tablet, but I've had experience with the mouse and only about 3 minutes using the tablet. How would you click and hold/drag with it? My fav Aeon is Ifrit, but Bahamut is groovy, like that weird wheel on his back.

No idea! I've hardly used a tablet, though I have thoroughly enjoyed using a tablet pc. All laptops should be tablet pc's. Ifrit's okay.... from memory.... I haven't actually finished FFX yet, I am fighting to get inside Sin.... I think.... it's been a while.

Have you got those three annoying Aeon bug things? Also, have you ever tried to play Doom 3 on a laptop with that finger-movement-no-mouse-thingy? Very hard turning around while being shot at.
